Recently, the "The World Forum on the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Education---the Fourth Meeting of the Third Council of EIC-WFCMS was held in Changchun, China" organized by EIC-WFCMS, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in Changchun.Due to the impact of COVID-19, the conference adopted the form of "Online + Offline", and more than 100 participants from 10 countries and regions including the USA, France, Britain, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Switzerland attended the meeting.
The conference aims to promote international exchanges and cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine education in the post epidemic era, promote traditional Chinese medicine to the world and actively build a human health community. The meeting was one of the sub venues of the education development forums of the Sixth Summer Summit of the World Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine held at the same time.
At the meeting, Leng Xiangyang, President of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Wang Yaogang, Vice president of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, delivered speeches successively.Feng Xuerui no longer held the post of Secretary-General of EIC-WFCMS. Zhang Boli, Chairman of EIC-WFCMS, presented the certificate of "Outstanding Contribution Award" to Feng Xuerui and the certificate of "Secretary-General of EIC-WFCMS" to Jiang Feng on behalf of the Council of EIC-WFCMS.
Zhang Boli, chairman of EIC-WFCMS, made a report to the Council on the work of EIC-WFCMS. He made an in-depth analysis of the conference in light of the current development of COVID-19 in the world, and put forward concrete proposals for the development of Chinese Medicine education in the post epidemic era.
